Distraction theft in Newmarket

Police are appealing for information following a distraction theft in a supermarket car park on Archer Way Newmarket.

On Saturday afternoon 4 April sometime between 3.30pm ad 3.45pm, an unknown male suspect engaged in conversation with a shopper whilst they were loading shopping into their car.  The suspect distracted the victim and stole their purse containing bank cards and cash.
